The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

Have you thought about becoming Catholic and don’t know where to go? Perhaps you know someone who would like to join the Church and are looking for more information.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is for adults over the age of 18 years who wish to become members of the Catholic Church. The conversion process should be approached with prayerful discernment of God’s will. Formal classes take place over several months. The process culminates with the reception of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist), or in the case of Baptized persons, with the Profession Faith, Confirmation and Eucharist.
